It's World Rum Day and we're celebrating it with another fantastic creation by mixologist Heather Wibbels, aka The Cocktail Contessa. (Not that we needed another reason to celebrate summer with a cocktail in hand, but we'll take it!)
This drink starts sweet, but as the Cranberry Rose Mixicles melt, they add tartness . . . and personality. We used a light rum (also referred to as white or silver rum) for this drink, but just like Ms. CRANky Pants, you do you.
No More Ms. CRANky Pants
- 1½ oz. rum
- 1 oz. pineapple juice
- ½ oz. passion fruit syrup
- ½ oz. lime juice
- 3 Cranberry Rose Mixicles® cubes
- Mango ginger beer
How to Mix:
Add the lime juice, passion fruit syrup, pineapple juice, and rum to a shaker with ice. Shake for 10 to 15 seconds. Pour into a rocks glass over the Cranberry Rose cubes. Stir. Top with mango ginger beer and garnish with a lime wheel.
