If you’re craving a cocktail that tastes like the coziest corner of autumn, this one’s for you. Inspired by the classic Old Vermont — a simple but elegant blend of gin, maple syrup, lemon, orange, and bitters — this version adds even more warmth and seasonal glow with a Mixicles twist.
Instead of the traditional orange juice, this recipe calls for an Orange Blossom Pomegranate Mixicles cube (found in the Distinctive Collection), which brings layers of bright citrus and subtle floral notes along with hints of apple, passion fruit, and pomegranate. When shaken with the rest of the ingredients, the cube melts into the drink and chills it beautifully, adding body and complexity without watering things down. (If you prefer a lighter, more diluted cocktail, feel free to toss in a couple of regular ice cubes when you shake.)
The result is a drink that’s crisp, lightly sweet, and perfect for sipping by the fire, pairing with a fall dinner, or enjoying on a chilly evening with friends.
