This year Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday, which is fortunate because while drinking at breakfast time may be frowned upon, drinking at brunch is encouraged.
When we think brunch, we think mimosas. A classic mimosa is composed of sparkling wine and chilled orange juice. It’s typically served in a champagne flute and is made by filling the glass about two-thirds of the way with the sparkling wine and then topping it with the juice. That is a lovely combination, no doubt. But for something a little different, try making mimosas utilizing the flavors in our Floral Collection.
This Mixicles collection provides three distinct building blocks for unique, flavorful mimosas: Cranberry Rose, which shines in sparkling wine with its tart cranberry, orange, and rose notes; Elderflower Lemon Mint, which can elevate even a lesser quality sparkling wine with its refreshing, ever-so-slightly sweet mint, elderflower, and lemon flavors; and Lavender Peach, which gives a nod to the mimosa’s Italian cousin, the Bellini.
And if sparkling wine does not pack enough of a punch for your brunch cocktail needs, add a shot of vodka to your glass before you top it off. Cheers!
